3D Printed Finger Splints

One of the designers at Lime Design broke their finger and noticed that the current options that were available on the market were bulky and uncomfortable.  We decided to create an improved solution that would help heal the finger in a more convenient fashion.

We reversed engineered the broken finger by taking measurements to create our custom 3D printed cast. We went through many iterations to find a solution that was highly breathable so you don’t get pruney or wrinkly fingers. They are designed in a way so that you have an easy way to adjust the shape of the splint as the finger begins to heal. At Lime Design we like to keep it green.

The 3D Finger Splints were 3D printed using PLA biodegradable plastic and were designed and prototyped in the USA.
