The Clip Anywhere Worklights are a versatile, high-performance lighting solution built for convenience and portability. Designed to clip effortlessly onto belts, bags, jackets, or toolboxes, these compact LED lights deliver reliable brightness wherever the job takes you. With an angle-adjustable head, users can precisely direct the beam without needing to reposition the entire light, making it ideal for hands-free tasks in tight or dark spaces.
Lime Design collaborated closely with the client to bring this concept to life from scratch, moving swiftly through prototyping and refinement phases to develop a final product ready for real-world use. With multiple light modes and a rugged build, the Clip Anywhere Worklights are designed to perform in tough environments while maintaining a sleek, user-friendly design.

Services Used
Concept Development
We began with a series of industrial sketches and functional mockups that explored usability, clip ergonomics, and internal component layout. Our goal was to create a form factor that balanced compact size with hands-free practicality.
Prototyping
Prototyping was a core focus of this project. From early blocky PLA prints to fully functional test units, we meticulously iterated the design across multiple stages. You can see the full evolution, from rough prototype to refined, packaged product, in our documentation. Each prototype stage informed the next, with improvements in LED alignment, lens transparency, clip mechanism, and tactile feel.
Engineering
We engineered the internals to accommodate a strong clip, durable plastic housing, and high-intensity LED modules, all in a compact footprint. Detailed CAD modeling ensured all parts worked together smoothly, from the battery slot to the lens casing.
Packaging
We designed a minimal, durable retail package that displays the product clearly while allowing for efficient shipping. The final packaging showcases the worklights in a twin-pack blister format with bold branding and clear usage highlights.
