The Bingo Tugless Dog Collar was conceived to offer a humane and effective solution for discouraging unwanted leash pulling behaviors in dogs. Recognizing the limitations and potential distress caused by traditional shock collars, our team aimed to develop a collar that utilizes gentle vibrations to train dogs without causing discomfort. Iterative Design Grounded in User Feedback
During the prototyping phase, we developed multiple iterations of the Bingo Tugless Collar to test its functionality and comfort. We evaluated each prototype with dogs of various breeds and sizes to ensure universal applicability. Feedback from these trials was instrumental in refining the vibration intensity and activation sensitivity, ensuring that the collar provides effective training cues without causing distress. Adjustments were also made to the collar’s fit and fastening mechanism to accommodate different neck sizes securely.
