Brittany came to Lime Design with the idea to help save peoples thighs all around the world. Everyone has dealt with the struggle of not being able to wear their favorite outfits because of the fear of thigh chafing. Brittany noticed that their were no good options for people to turn to to protect their beautiful thighs from themselves. So, Brittany decided to fix the problem. After many years of research and development with the help of Lime Design, we were able to develop a cost effective patch that was easy to manufacture and produce.
Product Development:
Gentleness, effectiveness, adhesion balance
Collaborating closely with the founder, we transformed the initial concept into a tangible product that addresses the needs of those prone to thigh chafing. Our team focused on selecting materials that are both effective in reducing friction and gentle on sensitive skin, resulting in a patch that is breathable, hypoallergenic, and latex-free. We also ensured the adhesive used is strong enough to stay in place during various activities, yet gentle enough to remove without discomfort.

Prototyping:
Iterative Design via various shapes and sizes
Through iterative prototyping, we tested various shapes, sizes, and materials to optimize the patch’s performance and comfort. This process allowed us to refine the design to ensure it provides maximum coverage and stays discreet under clothing. Feedback from real-world testing informed adjustments that enhanced the patch’s durability and effectiveness, leading to a product that users can rely on throughout the day.
Packaging:
Lightweight way of visualizing function
High-quality, cardboard packages were developed as a means of displaying the product while also being as unintrusive as possible to the user. A simplified, lightweight method of communicating the branding on store shelves was the direction our team took when it came to actualizing this product’s packaging.
